Shipments tend to return to pre-crisis, between 60% and 65% of the volume manufactured in 2021 compared to 72% last year.<br>The production of the pig iron industry in the state must surpass the 3.9 million tons registered in 2020, which was the best performance in the last 12 years. The president of Sindifer-MG, Fausto Varela Can\u00e7ado said that the sector is working to grow at least 10% in 2021, but if it repeats the result of the last year, that will be a good performance.<br>             On the other hand, manufacturers face problems with low productivity, caused by the poor quality of the iron ore supplied to the sector. The ore with higher content of iron is shipped overseas.
